# BoothMap documentation

Let exhibitors pick their own stand on your hall plan.

## Before you start

- •WordPress 6.0 or newer, WooCommerce 7.0 or newer, PHP 7.4 or newer
- •A hall plan as a PNG, JPG or SVG
- •A working WooCommerce checkout — exhibitors pay through it, not through a separate system

## What it does not do

- —It does not take payments itself. The money goes through your own WooCommerce checkout and gateway; we never see a card.
- —It does not handle exhibitor contracts, badges or lead scanning. What it sells is the space.
- —It does not build the hall plan for you. You bring the image; BoothMap makes it bookable.

## What is in the download

One WordPress plugin ZIP. It expects WooCommerce to be installed already, because the checkout it uses is yours — BoothMap does not take payments itself and never sees a card.
GPL source. If your show has a rule nobody else’s show has, a developer can read the code and add it.

## Installing it

Install WooCommerce first and make sure a test order can be completed. A stand cannot be sold through a checkout that is not yet working, and diagnosing that after the plan is drawn wastes an afternoon.
Then Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin with the BoothMap ZIP, activate, and paste your licence key when prompted.

## Drawing the hall

Upload the hall plan and place stands on it by clicking and dragging. Sizes and types are yours to define — a 3×2 shell scheme and a 6×6 island are two stand types with two prices, not two plugins.
Set the price per stand or per zone before you publish. Changing a price afterwards does not alter stands that are already booked, which is the behaviour you want when an exhibitor queries their invoice.
Publish the plan on a page. What the exhibitor sees is live availability: booked stands are greyed, free ones are clickable, and clicking one starts the ordinary WooCommerce checkout.

## Licence, updates and support

- One licence covers 1 WordPress site.
- 1 year of updates, from the date of purchase.
- 1 year of email support.
- Instant download + licence key by email
- 30-day money-back guarantee
Questions this page does not answer go to support@webkoding.com . If you bought from us and cannot find your licence key, look it up here .

## Common questions

### Do exhibitors pay through WooCommerce?

Yes. A stand is a WooCommerce line item, so it goes through whichever payment gateway your shop already uses and lands in your ordinary order list. There is no second checkout to reconcile.

### Can two exhibitors book the same stand?

No. A stand that has been booked is greyed out on the plan and cannot be added again — which is the entire reason this exists rather than a PDF and an email thread.

### Can different stands have different prices?

Yes, per stand or per zone, and sponsor tiers can be priced separately — a premium corner does not have to cost what a back-wall stand costs.

### What if I run several halls or several shows?

Each plan is separate, with its own stands and prices, so one site can run this year’s show, next year’s show and a second hall at the same time.

### Can I get the exhibitor list out?

Yes, as CSV — who booked which stand, with the order behind it. That is usually what the badge printer and the floor manager want.
