Before you start
- WordPress 6.0 or newer, WooCommerce 7.0 or newer, PHP 7.4 or newer
- The product data the passport asks for: materials, recycled content, repairability
- A domain you are happy to have printed on packaging — the passport is served from it
What it does not do
- It does not supply the data. Materials, recycled content and repairability come from you and your suppliers; the plugin gives them a place to live and a passport to appear on.
- It does not certify anything, and it is not legal advice on whether ESPR applies to your category yet.
- It does not print labels. It generates the QR code; getting it onto packaging is your printer's job.
What is in the download
A WordPress plugin ZIP that adds ESPR passport fields to WooCommerce products, publishes a passport page per product, and generates the QR code that points at it.

Installing it
WooCommerce first, then Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, activate, and paste the licence key from your purchase email.
Decide the URL shape before you print anything. The passport link goes onto physical packaging, and packaging outlives website restructures.
Filling the catalogue in
Work by product family, not by product. Materials and recycled content are usually identical across a range, and bulk editing turns a fortnight into an afternoon.
Record where each figure came from. When someone eventually queries a recycled-content claim, the answer has to be a supplier document, not a recollection.
Publish a few passports and read them as a customer would before generating codes for the whole catalogue. A QR that resolves to a half-empty page is worse than one that is not printed yet.

Common questions
Is the ESPR mandate in force for my products yet?
It arrives category by category over several years. This plugin exists so the data and the passport are in place before your category’s date, not to tell you what that date is — that is a question for your compliance adviser.
Where is the passport hosted?
On your own domain, from your own WordPress installation. A passport served from a vendor’s domain is a link that dies when you stop paying them, printed on packaging that lasts for years.
Do I have to fill this in one product at a time?
No — bulk editing across the catalogue is the only way this is survivable at any real size. Most of the fields are identical across a product family.
What goes in the QR code?
A link to that product’s passport page on your domain. The QR is generated per product, so it can go on the label, the packaging or the product itself.
Is it HPOS-compatible?
Yes.
