Schema Audit Pro documentation

Fix a whole catalogue at once, and find out whether the AI crawlers came back.

Before you start

  • WordPress 6.2 or newer, WooCommerce 8.0 or newer, PHP 8.1 or newer
  • The free Webkoding Product Schema and Crawl Audit plugin from wordpress.org — Pro attaches to it
  • Barcodes and brands from your suppliers, or a CSV containing them

What it does not do

  • It does not do anything on its own. It is the paid half of a free plugin on wordpress.org and attaches to it; installed alone, there is no audit to extend.
  • It cannot invent barcodes. Bulk editing and CSV import put your GTINs and brands in place — you still have to have them.
  • It is not a general SEO plugin and does not replace one. Product schema fields are the scope.
  • It does not make Google or an assistant index you. The crawler report tells you who fetched what; it does not promise they came back.

What is in the download

The Pro add-on as a WordPress plugin ZIP. The free plugin it attaches to is on wordpress.org, listed as Webkoding Product Schema and Crawl Audit.

GPL source. Pro uses the free plugin’s documented hooks rather than patching it, so both can update independently.

Installing it

Install and activate WooCommerce, then the free plugin, then Pro. Activating Pro on its own does nothing useful, because the audit it extends is not there.

Paste the licence key from your purchase email into Pro. The key governs updates.

Fixing a catalogue

Run the free audit first and read the totals before editing anything. Most catalogues are missing one field almost everywhere, and knowing which one turns the job into a single bulk edit.

Prefer the CSV import when your supplier can give you barcodes. Typing GTINs by hand introduces errors that are worse than a missing field, because a wrong barcode is confidently wrong.

Check the crawler report a few weeks later, not the next day. Crawl frequency is measured in weeks for most shops, and a report read too early says nothing.

Licence, updates and support

  • One licence covers 1 WordPress site.
  • 1 year of updates, from the date of purchase.
  • 1 year of email support.
  • Instant download + licence key by email
  • 30-day money-back guarantee

Common questions

What does the free plugin do, and what am I paying for here?

The free one tells you which products are missing barcode, brand and condition, and proves the schema is on the page. Knowing is the easy half. Pro does the editing — in bulk, or from a CSV — and adds the agent-readable feed and the AI crawler report. Nothing in the free version is held back waiting for a key.

How long does fixing a large catalogue take?

An afternoon rather than a fortnight, which is the entire argument. Six hundred products edited one at a time is a job nobody finishes.

What is the AI crawler report for?

It shows which crawlers fetched which pages and when. It is the only way to tell whether any of this changed anything, rather than assuming it did.

Does it replace my SEO plugin?

No. It is about product schema fields specifically — the ones that decide whether a shopping result or an assistant can describe your product properly.

Do I have to install the free plugin too?

Yes. Pro attaches to it through documented hooks and is only the paid half; on its own it has nothing to attach to.
