Calculator plugins usually hand you an admin form and a shortcode, and whatever comes out looks nothing like the page it sits on. Then you spend an evening fighting the CSS.
QuoteBlocks is native Elementor widgets. The fields, the steps and the total are elements you drag onto the page and style with the same controls as everything else, and the maths runs through a tokenizer rather than eval — a formula from the editor can never become code that executes.

## What you need

- •WordPress 6.0 or newer, PHP 7.4 or newer
- •Elementor 3.0 or newer. Elementor Pro is not required
- •A page you are willing to build in Elementor — these are widgets, not a shortcode
Runs on your own WordPress alongside Elementor, free or Pro. Nothing is sent anywhere else.

## What QuoteBlocks does not do

- —It only runs inside Elementor. There is no shortcode and no block-editor version; if you do not build pages in Elementor, this is the wrong plugin.
- —It does not take payment. It produces a quote and emails it.
- —It does not connect to a CRM. Quotes arrive by email.

## Questions

Do I need Elementor Pro? +
No. It works with free Elementor. If you have Pro it does not change anything here. How is this different from a calculator plugin with a shortcode? +
A shortcode drops markup onto your page that was styled somewhere else, and you spend an evening on CSS making it fit. These are native Elementor widgets, styled with the same controls as the rest of the page. Is the formula engine safe? +
There is no eval. Formulas are tokenised and evaluated, so a formula typed into the editor cannot become code that runs on your server. Can fields depend on each other? +
Yes — conditional logic works between fields and between steps, so a section can appear only once a relevant choice is made. Where does the quote go? +
To you by email, and optionally to the visitor. The visitor’s copy is what turns a calculator into a lead rather than a toy.
Everything else is in the QuoteBlocks documentation , and anything it does not answer goes to support@webkoding.com .
