ShopKit is the Flutter source of a shopping app, with ten finished store designs and a free companion plugin, Webkoding ShopKit Connect for WooCommerce. Install the plugin, scan its QR code in the app, and the app shows your store's products, variations, cart, coupons, shipping, customers and orders. There is no app builder to learn: you pick the design that fits your shop, brand it and publish it.
Every app also runs offline on a bundled sample store, so you can try all ten designs before you have a server. English, Arabic (right to left) and Turkish are in every app and in the plugin, and 5,158 automated Flutter tests come with the source.

- 1Install ShopKit ConnectInstall the free plugin from wordpress.org (Plugins → Add New, search "ShopKit Connect") or upload it from your download, and activate it. Its Status tab checks WooCommerce, permalinks, HTTPS and the checkout page, and says what to fix.
- 2Connect the appCreate an app key, then scan its QR code or paste its JSON in the app's Connect your store screen. The app restarts on your store, with no rebuild.

- •Your payment gateway's own per-transaction fees, and optionally a Firebase project for push notifications
- •Nothing at all for demo mode: every app runs on its bundled sample store, with no server and no paid account
The Flutter apps and the free ShopKit Connect plugin are in the download. Live mode needs a WordPress + WooCommerce store of your own on HTTPS hosting; without one, every app runs on its bundled sample store. Google Play (US$25 once), Apple (US$99 a year), your payment gateway's fees and optional Firebase push are billed to you by those companies.

## What ShopKit does not do

- —It does not include hosting or a store. Live mode needs a WordPress + WooCommerce site of your own on HTTPS; WordPress, WooCommerce and the ShopKit Connect plugin are free, the hosting is yours.
- —It does not take card numbers inside the app. Cash on delivery, bank transfer and cheque are placed in the app; every other gateway runs on your store's own checkout page in an in-app web view, and that gateway charges you its own fees.
- —There are no maps, no live courier tracking, no support chat and no augmented reality. The screens that show them are sample layouts: they show sample content in demo mode and are hidden once the app is connected to your store.
- —It is not an app builder or a hosted service, and we do not publish the app for you. You build it with Flutter and release it under your own Google Play and Apple developer accounts.

## Questions

Does it work with my existing WooCommerce store? +
Yes — that is what 2.0 is for. Install the free Webkoding ShopKit Connect for WooCommerce plugin, create an app key and give it to the app by QR code or JSON. The app then shows your store's categories, products and variations, uses WooCommerce's own cart with your coupons, shipping and taxes, signs your customers in and lists their orders. Cash on delivery, bank transfer and cheque are placed inside the app. Every other gateway enabled on your WooCommerce checkout — Stripe, PayPal or whatever you already use — runs on your own checkout page in a secure in-app web view; the app hands over its cart with a one-time link and never sees card numbers. None to us: it is a one-time purchase of the source code, and the plugin is free. Publishing a shop app does use other companies' services, billed to you directly: your hosting, Google Play (US$25 once), Apple (US$99 a year), your payment gateway's fees, and Firebase if you switch on push. Which languages does it speak? +
English, Arabic and Turkish, in every app and in the plugin. Arabic mirrors the whole layout right to left. The app follows the phone's language, customers can change it in the app, and prices use your store's currency in that language's number format. What does it not do? +
Maps, live courier tracking, support chat and augmented reality are not implemented. Their screens are sample layouts that appear only in demo mode and are hidden in live mode; making any of them real needs a third-party service at your own cost.
