What you need

- Someone comfortable with Asterisk. This is telephony, and telephony is not a plugin install
Installs once on an Ubuntu server of yours. The SIP trunk and the speech, language and voice providers are your own accounts, billed to you directly at their prices — we take no cut and never see your usage.
What Voxtrunk does not do
- It does not come with a phone number, a SIP trunk or any minutes. You bring your own carrier — which is the point, and why there is no per-minute cut.
- It does not include speech-to-text, language model or voice credit. Those are three accounts of yours, billed to you at their prices.
- It is not a plugin install. This is Asterisk on a server, and telephony rewards somebody who has done it before.
- It does not guarantee what the model says on a call. The transcript is there so you can read what it did.

Which carrier do I have to use?
Any. It speaks plain SIP and registers to any trunk on earth, which is the difference from every hosted equivalent — those tie you to one carrier and one speech vendor and take a cut of the minutes.
Do you take a per-minute cut?
No. It is a one-time purchase, self-hosted, with no phone-home. Your carrier bills you for minutes and your speech, model and voice vendors bill you for usage — we see none of it.
How fast does it answer?
Sub-second, with barge-in, measured on a real Asterisk call rather than in a demo video. Latency is the entire experience on a phone call: a two-second pause reads as a dropped line.
