Per-order fee £0.30 on orders of £10 or less, £0.40 above

Category rates apply up to each category’s threshold; very high-value sales pay a lower rate above it, which is not modelled here.

## How it is calculated

Sale total = price + postage charged.
Fees = category rate × sale total + per-order fee + 0.35% regulatory fee + international fee where it applies.
Profit = sale total − fees − item cost − postage paid.

### Is VAT charged on eBay fees?

eBay fees for UK business sellers carry VAT unless the account has a valid VAT number. Add 20% to the fee total if that applies to you.

### When does the currency conversion fee change?

eBay UK’s currency conversion charge rises from 2.5% to 2.75% on 1 December 2026, for sales converted from another currency.
