Worked example
At 18%, a price of ₪100.00 before VAT becomes ₪118.00, of which ₪18.00 is VAT.
The other way round, ₪100.00 including VAT is ₪84.75 before it — divide by 1.18 rather than taking 18% off, which is the usual mistake.
It is the highest standard rate among the Middle East countries on this site.

Under WooCommerce → Settings → Tax → Standard rates, add a row with the country code IL and a rate of 18, leaving the state and postcode empty.
