KDV hesaplama (Türkiye)
Türkiye’de genel KDV oranı %20’dir; indirimli oranlar %10 ve %1’dir. %1 oranı başta temel gıda olmak üzere sınırlı bir listeye, %10 oranı ise bazı gıda, tekstil ve hizmetlere uygulanır.
Yukarıdaki araçla KDV hariç tutara KDV ekleyebilir ya da KDV dahil tutardan KDV’yi ayırabilirsiniz: 1.000 TL + %20 KDV = 1.200 TL. KDV dahil bir tutarın KDV hariç halini bulmak için tutarı 1,20’ye bölün; %20 indirim yapmak yanlış sonuç verir.

Worked example
At 20%, a price of TRY 1,000.00 before VAT becomes TRY 1,200.00, of which TRY 200.00 is VAT.
The other way round, TRY 1,000.00 including VAT is TRY 833.33 before it — divide by 1.2 rather than taking 20% off, which is the usual mistake.

Charging Turkey VAT in WooCommerce
Under WooCommerce → Settings → Tax → Standard rates, add a row with the country code TR and a rate of 20, leaving the state and postcode empty. Reduced rates go in their own tax class, each with a TR row, and the products that qualify are assigned to it.
If one product you sell is really two things taxed at different rates — a meal deal with food and drink in it, a gift box with a book — a single tax class cannot be right for it. SplitVAT divides that product's price across the tax classes you already have, so the order shows each part at its own rate. It is our plugin, and you only need it if your products are like that.

Rates and the goods they apply to change; confirm with the national tax authority before you file.
