TikTok Shop fees in the US

Some sellers report a rise to 8% from August 2026; TikTok’s published rate table still shows 6%. Choose 8% above if your seller centre shows it.

How it is calculated

Fee base = sale price + customer-paid shipping − the discount you fund (tax excluded).

Referral fee = fee base × rate.

Creator commission = (sale price − your discount) × the affiliate rate you set.

Profit = fee base − platform fee − creator commission − item cost − postage.

Questions

How much does TikTok Shop take?

6% of each order in most categories, which already includes payment processing. Creator commission, if a creator sold it, comes on top.

What affiliate commission should I offer creators?

Whatever leaves you a profit — set it here and watch the result. Higher rates attract more creators, but the commission comes out of the same margin as everything else.

Do fees apply to shipping?

Yes, when the customer pays for shipping it is part of the base the platform fee is calculated on. Shipping you offer free does not add to it.
